On a winter visit we were fortunate to see this bushpig early one morning. They normally hide away quite quickly when the cars enter the park :wink:

Wow PJL! You were fortunate. And to get such a beautiful photo too :clap: We've never been lucky enough to see one of these.

We were in the park just the other day and there are literally thousands of Brown-Veined Whites fluttering around. Every moist dung pile (water + minerals) was attracting them:

It was also a privilege to see Valli Moosa with his splendid tusks :D

What lovely sightings and pictures. 8) I have never seen a bush pig, so I am intrigued by the little critter... as for the Caracal, how beautiful is that. :thumbs_up:

We had so much rain... it will be impossible to see a Caracal.. even a very wet one :lol:

I have only ever had one short visit to Addo. I hope to change that.

We had some love elephant sightings. The Addo ellies seemed more gentle to me than the Kruger ellies. I don't know if that was just my perception.

There have been plenty of young animals in the park this spring/summer. Even baby warthog manage to look cute :wink:
