Bontebok Chalets need aircon

Unread post by Nimrod » Mon Feb 13, 2017 4:28 pm

Hi. We stayed in Bontebok this weekend. The chalets are OK. Everything you need is there. It was 35degrees celcius and no Aircon. Dont know how the campers survived. I suggest they install aircons in the chalets!!!!!

(Like the fancy aircon at the reception of Bontebok)

We have been to Bontebok in winter, summer, spring anytime well just when we wanted to get out and away from the students in Stellenbosch for example. Yes we had high temperatures far in the 30s close to 40, freezing and a complete white park. Being outside all day we never missed an aircon. Even at night we just opened all the windows which is possible because of the gaze. I rather sit outside and hear the sounds of nature instead of the noise pollution aircons make. I do not have an aircon at home. Spending time in nature means for me spending time without noisy things like aircons and neighbours in the next chalet watching the daily soap so loud I can not miss the open plot.

Hi Nimrod

You will be getting a SANParks Guest Feedback Request email from the South African National Parks Management Team.
Please take the time to complete that.
You will find that you can add your own comments to the questionnaire.
