First trip to Richtersveld

Unread post by Dono » Fri Jan 08, 2016 6:55 pm

We are planning to travel from CT to Richtersveld in March(hope its not too hot) and will prob stay at Namaqua , then on to Sendelingsdrif. Then either to Tatasberg or Ganakouriep, not sure which is better. We are staying in the chalets, at these places. Which route is the best and most scenic, we do have a 4x4. We have about 10 days.

Dear Dono,

The best advice from my side would be to read through the topics in the Arid Park Index Namaqua and |Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park where you will find interesting discussions about these two parks and where to stay etc. .

Thanks I will and have been reading up on as much as I could. I am concerned about the heat though. We are in our 60's and heat does become a comfort factor to my wife.
Thanks for your response.
