Nkwe in Sesotho which means Leopard.

Hi wanderw

   ...a lot of spots about!!

A bit late but we saw this leopard on the lower dune road on 5 August 2012, which we think is a female, about 3km east of the access road to Kielikrankie at 09h45.....

Again, a lovely sighting of Nkwe! This is only the 3rd sighting of him, first seen at Tierkop on the 8th January 2012. Seems like he is going walkabout!
Thank you Katy and Francolin!

Sneak preview of first leopard sighting (pics weren't great because the light was low. I tried to choose the sharpest shots. I'm a bit disappointed with how they came out :( ). The sighting was at Houmoed around 17h40.

The low light must have been hard but the first image is super, he has a real regal look to him.
You saw Nkwe...he has now firmly moved in as the dominant male in the South.
