As far as I know only at Twee Riviere. (that's the only place I've used mine)

We have used our fuel card on all 4 of our trips and have filled up at Twee Rivieren, Nossob and Mata Mata but we always carry cash as a backup.

Yes, we have used South African garage card in the three main camps. However, take cash just in case - communications can be "down" at any time.

We also take 20 litres "spare" fuel in a Jerry can, as fuel deliveries can be a bit unreliable - the KTP is so far from "civilisation" (Upington) - and you don't want to get stranded for a few days.

Good morning all

Also be advised to have plenty of cash on hand!
We have also just returned from Kgalagadi and twice (at Mata Mata and then at Twee Rivieren) the 'satellite' was down and we couldn't use our credit card to buy diesel. Had to scrape around a bit for the last fill up! Agree to look out for the leopard between 13th and 14th!
Regards
Sandy
