Thanx Jo! Always great to see a leopard at Urikaruus! We were told that there is a male and female that use the U waterhole and birdbath! (check page 3 for a pic of the U male)

@droopy - I think you might have the best chance of seeing a leopard at TR!(3 leopards have been seen around there recently)

@Jaraheckes - Welcome to the forum! :D
See the following link explaining how to resize pictures and then upload them -

(I use Irfanview to resize pix(640x480) and then Photobucket to host them)

Thanx Jaraheckes! Super pic!

Edited - Jaraheckes' last post - 1st pic Jannie, leopard no. 3.2(Historical leopards) in the ID Guide, 2nd pic Houmoed, leopard no. 3.10 in the ID guide(04042014).

Great pix Jaraheckes!  But not the same leopard! So you are the first on this thread to post a pic of the Houmoed Male! a stunning male leopard.
As ingrid60 says - You have been very lucky!!! :D

(He is in the territory of the Leeudril male - :hmz: wonder whether he might be the cub of the L male and another female, perhaps the Munro female, who has been very elusive to us in the park, and on this thread)

Siwet, first you have to upload your photo to a side dedicated (webshot.com for instance).
Then you must copy the link provided by this host here in the reply window.
Try a little, and if you have problems, tell me what you do, I will try to help.

And maybe some help here

@Siwet - Thanx for the lovely pix! :D If you can, check your pix with the pix of the Houmoed Male, posted on page 5 by Jaraheckes, as well as the Leeudril male(posted on page 1 by Eagle Eyes). Would be great to find out which male you saw. Also might be Jannie, the grown cub of the TR female? :hmz:

Auchterlonie/Kielie Krankie Male?

We saw this male leopard between Auchterlonie and the Kielie Krankie turnoff, in December 2008!

Image

His right side! (Cropped a lot, not the greatest, apologies!)

Image

His left side!

Image

His whisker spots are more visible here. Markings we thought stood out - he has a slanted ‘t’ above his left eye and 3 curving lines of spots on his left cheek/nose. We initially thought that he was the Rooibrak male, but his spot pattern says otherwise.

Hi wanderw - saw you mentioned the ring of spots under the left eye of the Leeudril male......these pics were taken in July 07.....I think its the Leeudril male although we only really had a good view of his right side, there is one pic where I think you can just see the spots in the ring! We saw him on the slopes north of Rooiputs. I will also try attach a video clip

Hi Jo - your pix look like the Leeuwdril male. I can't be 100% certain though as I only have pix of his left side. I'm also having trouble seeing the video - I will try again tomorrow. Thanx for the pix and info  - North of Rooiputs? Wow - he has quite a large range!( Samevloeing, Houmoed, Munroe, Leeudril and Rooiputs)
