Wildlife spotting logbook

Unread post by UK springbok » Fri Oct 03, 2008 10:53 am

First time on forum, although an avid visitor/guest.
I am visiting KNP next week, for first time since Nov 2000, and this time bringing young grandchildren. As they are being taken out of school they will be doing a project to present to classmates on return.
In the old days one could get "I spy" books. A sort of mini reference and record book. Are these still available in SA, in KNP, and in particular Oliphants our first o/night stop?
Hope someone can help.
Looking forward to showing young members of my family the wonders of Africa and KNP.

Thanks Imax, I will check these out.
It's turned very cold here in UK today, so glad to be heading for SA in 7 days.

Are there still a range of "project" books for children of different ages?

A friend of mine is a teacher and she was given a whole pile of these as a reference for putting her own worksheets together for a school trip she used to take the grade fives on every year.

The resources were aimed at children at various educational levels, including high school. Some of them were quite challenging.
I don't get to the Parks nearly often enough, despite two trips to the KNP and one to Golden Gate this year.
