New book: Kgalagadi Self-drive

Unread post by TanniB » Thu Oct 12, 2017 1:12 pm

Hello!
I would love to buy the new book "Kgalagadi Self-drive", that looks awsome:
http://kgalagadiselfdrive.co.za/?utm_so ... e-57363929

But unfortunately the postage to Germany would be very expensive. Do you know if it is possible to buy it in the Park or at Ta Shebube Lodges? We will be hopefully in KTP again next december and I wondered if I coud purchase it there... Would it be ok to go to a Ta Shebube Lodge to buy it, even if we will not be their guests?

Thanks for your help!
Tanja

Does look good, hope will be on sale at Twee Rivieren. Will be there soon :D
Tanja, are you talking December 2017 or 2018? PM me for you want me to try get a copy for you. Will be back in the UK in December.

ps - a fairly futile offer on my part: it seems postage from the UK to Germany for a 2Kg book would still be GBP 8-10. I have emailed the publishers asking whether will be on sale at Twee Rivieren and to check actual date in November it will be available.

Dear Dukla2000,

your offer is very generous - thank you very much! But I fear you are right, that the postage from UK will not be much less than from SA. We will be there in 12/2018, so I hope I will get a book then. Or I change my mind and order one and pay the postage. So I have one before my next visit :D

Have a nice trip and once again: Thank you!

Regards from Tanja

I saw this advertised on the wildcard e-newsletter

Is it similar to the one published on Kruger last year?

No response to 2 emails. Hope their publishing and distribution skills are better than their communication skills!

Have you looked for it on ABE Books?

Edit. I did a quick search and it's not listed.
But it will be. I got my copy of Kruger from ABE

Edit 2:
It is available on NHBS

I ordered one from the contact in the Wild card e-newsletter and they keep me updated on a weekly basis as to where the books are traveling. We should receive the ordered books by the beginning of November. Books will arrive in Durban by ship on 3 November and will then be couriered to the various outlets/people who pre-ordered.

HPH Publishing Co.

Lion Queen,
I also can not wait. Hope it will be on the dates they promised.
