#‎Krugerholics‬ ‪#‎FairyGodMotherFriday‬

Time to make use of that one wish - but it does have conditions ...

You can go to Kruger this afternoon, never mind how, and arrive at any gate - you have to camp but you may only take a small cheap tent, a mattress, a pillow, a chair, basic cutlery and paper plates; and obviously cameras.

How would you spend your weekend?

You don't give much warning, do you DB?!

I'm all kitted out and about to jump on my broomstick to arrive at Kruger in time. I will see where the wind takes me, but probably will aim for a northern area - Punda or Shingwedzi.

Who else is coming?

I fancy a trip up to see Frank at Pafuri picnic site, going via Crooks' Corner to see how well the rivers are now flowing.

I love the idea of Punda and a trip to Pafuri Hippotragus
I have the extra long extension cord with me because I know the Bashers are meeting up there and we may need the extra length if we want to be near the Bird Hide/waterhole.

After that I think Shingwedzi is a lovely idea. The north has had rain and I believe the vegetation is beautifully green, so hopefully the Woodies and other migrants will have arrived too. Also we can look out for the Impala lambs....hopefully the mums have started dropping.

Well I am already in the air, backpack and parachute strapped on,over the Parfuri gate where I am meeting my air-conditioned 4x4, already stocked with the small cheap tent, a mattress, a pillow, a chair, basic cutlery and paper plates. But DB are you not permitting us a pair of binoculars????? I have never been to Punda and its somewhere I would really love to go. A trip down to Shingwedzi and back tomorrow is on the agenda. For the rest, I shall potter about locally and find the last three ticks I have missed out on this year. Thanks Fairy Godmother!

You will love Punda Salamanda, a camp with a very special atmosphere.

I have a little further to travel, so I may only get to the gate just before closing, but I also have everything that DB had on her list, plus the extra long electrical lead.

I have an extra pack of food goodies because we just may go hungry. What does everyone want to braai tonight. I got a selection of lamb chops, pork rashers and chicken pieces.
The accompaniments have to be very basic because the Fairy Godmother only allowed very limited items, so its baked potatoes and baked beans I am afraid. Unless of course our Fairy Godmother is just going to wave her magic wand and we can eat like Queens...and Kings :hmz:

Oh I do love you Mites. You do give us something to chuckle about.

Crested Val   We will have to talk to the fairy Godmother, but she is a kind soul and am sure she will give in. If not we can suspend you in an old tent tied to four nearby trees and then in the morning, just lower you down.
