Our cat Pueppy is hoarse at the moment. Image (Don't worry she is not lying there feeling sick, she just woke up disturbed by the click of the camera, and she was not amused  )
Apart from beeing hoarse she seems to be feeling very good.
She runs around the flat, jumps over the furniture and battles with Paul (her buddy). Image
We have been to the Vet last Friday for vaccination and we fear that her state is caused by this.
It seems not to handicap her at all, but both working in medical occupations we are very concerned  . Checking and palpating her throat every now and then.
She likes it and instantly starts to purr.

She usually is very talkative.
Now she ‘acts’ like in a silent movie.
She opens the mouth and produces…. no real sound. Just a croak.
Her waking up ritual early in the morning is adapted to the new situation.
Instead of calling me to come into the kitchen , she now sits on my thorax and stares me awake.

I hope she will regain her voice again soon.
I really miss her talking.

Here is the pics I promised of my voiceless wonders mom and dad bearded dragons.

The male is called Kronos and the female Gaija

And no there's no particular reason he's top side - just typical male jumping on anyone for attention

this is Grace (the blonde) and Dusty.

Grace came from the SPCA.. she is a true blonde, looses her way, always looking for an easy way out, wags her tail for a smile.
We know little about her, other than, if I would raise my voice, or hand, she would squat and wee in terror..

(I do not have a big voice, or hand)

Dusty was found in a very tiny courtyard. It was so small that he could not walk. He had been fed.. so much so, that he was so fat, that his legs could not support him.
He lived alone, all day, waiting for any aknowledgement of his existence.

Any Lab lover would know that that is the ultimate definition of hell.
So those ar two of my pets, lovely indeed.
The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.
