:D     I am happy for you COS.

On such a happy note, good morning.

The Cradle tray is ready. There is still ginger honey for the barkers.

Billy, GM, oh dear baddies. Here is something to start the new week. :gflower:

Stampie, I did smile at the numbers lessons. :D As someone who still inverts numbers, that sounds very useful. 8)

Hugh, Plattekloof, that is quite a climb, slide, depending on which way you are going.

Matty, I got as far as finding a container for my new mending kit. It is still better than I have done in the past.

Chirinda, it feel very chilly here this morning. I measure the temperature by the amount of cats that climb on my bed.

Another week has arrived. Monday is usually a half day for me, so it is a fairly relaxed way to start.

I do wish you a wonderful day. Take care. :gflower:

Good morning all. Why does the weekend pass so quickly??
The sun is out, the birds are singing and the air feels softer. There's a definite spring ambience.

COS, enjoy enjoy enjoy. Wishing you a special trip with great sightings and lots of good memories to sustain you until your next opportunity.

MM, I do like your temperature gauge.

Today is eye injection day for Mom. It's also coffee and a big fat cake for consolation afterwards. Last time there was a power failure and I had to hold the torch for the doctor to see. Hope that doesn't happen again.

Foxy, good luck with your licence renewal. Hope you have success today.

Thoughts are with you, GEJ.

GM, I can't remember the last time I had a humbug. When I was a kid, my mother used to buy a tin of them to take in the car for the long slow trek towing a caravan to Kruger for the July holidays.

Hugh, I hope you aren't creaking and groaning today. A nice gentle walk with the hounds will loosen everything up again.

Wishing everyone a happy Monday.

Stampie those boiled sweets were nice in church and during long trips in the car such as in the Kruger Park my female family members always had some cherrols, cool mint, spearmint, humbugs and fruit gums in their handbags. I used to be very fond of these bottermelk geur (buttermilk) hard toffees wrapped in blue paper that were 2cents each but we were not allowed to chew on them in church as it looked very ugly whilst singing a hymn at the same time.

Hope all will go well with the injection and that you and your Mom will enjoy the big fat treat, Stampie :D

Good morning :yaya: Sir, Nkulu, Philip, ALL :gflower:

I don't have any of those sweeties near, but I do have hard black Wilson (now Champion) toffees on my desk. Grantmissy 8)
