In the cool shade under the big tree

Unread post by Meandering Mouse » Mon Dec 05, 2016 4:37 am

Morning all. A new day and a new week.

Hugh     at the beagle reindeer. Very typical.

I have the kettle on. There is tea/coffee/milk/cream/chai and some rusks. I see my luxury mince pies are still where I left them. Not even the dogs are tempted to steal them....as they did the left over chicken from yesterday's lunch.

I was rather spoiled by my daughter and her SO. I had to open all my Christmas and birthday pressies. Lots of solar gadgets for my trip.   We will celebrating "Christmas' again when they return from the UK.

Well another week has arrived. May it be a productive one for everyone. :gflower:

Thanks for the lovely coffee and rusks Ms Mouse, and enjoy your early Xmas presents

As Trrp said, the sedoos is huffing and puffing and its going to get hot, so if you have to go to a beach today, I recommend Clifton or Glen beach 8)

Good morning all.
It's drizzling and lovely and cool but not a good idea to sit under my big shady tree - you'll get dropped on.

The last few hot days have given the strawberries a chance to grow big and ripen and I picked a huge bowl this morning. We can add them to our morning tea table.

MM, sounds like you had a special day of spoiling, yesterday. Nice to have some new toys for your trip.

Have a wonderful day, everyone and a good week to come.

A very good morning everyone!

Had a spit and spot of rain earlier and it does look hopeful that we may get a bit more!
but at least its cooler and the horrible wind has died down.

Sounds like a wonderful early Christmas and birthday celebration day yesterday MM.
and with some useful gifts for your trip.

Those strawberries do look wonderful Stampie and I'm sure so much better than the bought ones as well. 8)

Do all have a marvelous Monday and week.

Morning all the Marvellous Mites

Yum thanks for the strawberries Stampie, deeelish and glad you enjoyed your time away.
MM have fun working out all the solar doo dahs..not long to go now

Was extremely hot yesterday and we did not venture far from the overhead fans.We had a couple of very soft rain showers last night but looking at the soil this morning,it really did not make much of an impression.

Today, also overcast and cooler but humidity is high.

GEJ..do take care with your back
Elizabeth :D :D at the beagle/reindeer

We saw two big healthy male lions and four cheetahs on the S100 this morning 8) :D Thanks for the tea, strawberries and Christmas cakes and pies I took a few for the road to Orpen which is where we are going now :D Have a nice day and week and everybody :gflower:
