lam & I share the following gear:

2 x Canon 300D
2 x Canon 400D
Canon 400mm 5.6 L
Canon 300mm 4.0 L IS
Canon 70-200mm 4.0 L
Canon 50mm 1.8 (the fantastic plastic)
Sigma 1.4 EX TC
a big (10Kg) window beanbag plus a small 2Kg beanbag
Manfrotto 679 Monopod with 234RC swivel head
2 x cheap & nasty tripods and various useless window accessories (never used anymore)
various UV filters and CP filter for the 50mm
various CF cards
Sony VAIO plus card readers for downloading while in the bush
a 220v inverter with a cigarette-lighter plug for keeping everything charged.

We need decent tripods and ballheads (although lam hates tripods I hope to convince her to use beanbags - she is realising that IS doesn't solve all problems). Oh yes, and while lam isn't watching one day, I'll sneak in a Canon 17-40mm L.

Added a new item to my list
Canon 350D as backup for R3170
2300 images shot and as good as new.

Many people are trying to get rid of the 350 to make place for a 400D
