old format

hello all
I have just recently decided to start taking photographs again. So I went off and bought a bridge camera. Mainly for the relatively cheap power zoom feature. But I still have an old medium format Canon EOS whatever with a Sigma lens or two. Is there a use for such an artifact? If so, where would I get spools developed?

thanks and cheers
Ed

Moobox,

Not sure about SA, but in the UK, film is pretty much defunct now.
