noel Flamingo in KNP? Aug. '12

I am in Kruger-and one of the many interesting sightings is this Flamingo, seen at Sunset Dam yesterday. Who would have believed it? Many moons ago, I saw a Pelican at Mlondozi Dam. Now its a Flamingo! More to follow when I get back to Jhb.

Looks like a juvenile Lesser flamingo to me.

Nice spot!

If you want to see more pelicans head for Giriyondo borderpost, you will see quite a few.
