On my way to Kruger on Friday :dance: ...will visit my favorite hide on Friday and Saturday before moving to Satara and Olifants for a few days :dance: :dance:

Water level very low but something always happen and LP.....may spot the Leopard ..... :hmz:

Seen to the right hand side of the hide.

It was about 06.30 last August

Enjoy your trip to Kruger. I would be interested to know the water level at LP. I was there in early April and the front of the hide was dry. I wonder if this will impact the herons that nest close to the hide.

Thanks Hilda,

The dog had been chasing an Impala, which escapades by jumping into the Lake.
It was a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Wow Chris 18! What an extraordinary sighting it must have been! Do you know if the Impala came out of the lake alive, or did a Crocodile catch it? :shock:

Hilda, it's actually being dragged backwards by a large croc.

Shortly after this a second croc came over the top of the Impy. I don't know why but it released it's grip and left quite quickly.

I suspect the submerged croc made some type of communication to it. But am just guessing.
