All Creatures Great & Small on the H10.

Unread post by bornfree » Sun Jan 17, 2010 10:41 am

Hello everyone, this is not a trip report exactly but more a pictorial of the animals I have seen on one of my favourite roads. It has huge diversity and is also the road I take to get to more of the quieter areas. Some of the pics are better than others, but I enjoy everyones pics of the animals they see. So I hope you enjoy these.

Hi all,
Thanks for the kind comments. Mads this was taken in Oct 2008 but I know there were 2 females in the same area that were very pregnant in Oct 2009, maybe you saw their cubs, that would be awesome.

First sighting of a cheetah on a kill.

And the gentleman(?) who stole it!

Well, on to the next pics,

Image

At the rise to Nkumbe a bull had joined this herd of about 60 elephants, there was much greeting and excitement, here 2 babies are checking him out, us, well we waited for about an hour for them to clear the road. Magic!

Another cheetah kill, but quite far away.
