Lovely picture Phokojwe it shows the utter concentration in the eyes and face that only cats have when they are on the hunt.

RoelfA your picture is great I like watching the cats front feet as they walk with them moving at a sideways angle as you have captured nicely or when they are creeping along and lifting them up slowly and holding them in the air before slowly putting them down to avoid noise.

In Feb this year on the Mahonie loop,

first this big boy

and then not very far along possibly his cubs

One of them was the more bolder of the two and we think this was a little male as his sister had ducked out of sight.

A very special sighting for us this year. 8)

Wow Elsa! What a Leopard sighting! First dad, then the two cuties! A very special sighting indeed!

RoelfA, what a beautiful Leopard! He doesn't look very friendly, and the look in his eyes are very scary! But he is beautiful!

Lower Sabie - Leopard
During Feb'14 visit I enjoyed this wonderful leopard between Lower Sabie gate entrance and S82. I only discovered today, via another social network, that this was the snared leopard everyone was so concerned about in 2013. After a relook at all my photos, I saw the snare mark/injury.

Is he/she still alive? Does he/she has a name?
Just curious to know and for the benefit of sharing this info with all on this topic.
