Angry Leopard

Unread post by ekoppen » Mon Jun 24, 2013 9:00 pm

When Mrs Leopard first spotted us looking at her fresh kill, she wasn't too happy and proceeded to charge. You will see a distinct bounce in the video as she is coming. When she rose up on her hind legs it looked like she was coming right through the window of the car in the view finder and I came right out of my seat. When she came down I got back on with my cam but missed her when she was on her back legs. Turned out she wasn't that close. Probably six meters away......but it was exciting!

Thank you Philip and LQ! :D

This was taken close to Afsaal about a year ago. The scene was 1 male leopard mating with 2 female leopards, this older female would wait on top of the rock and snarl at the younger female, when it was her turn she climbed off the rock and also mated with the male. It was such a wonderful sighting!
