Stunning pic Anja!

We also found black rhinos during our December holiday in KNP. For the first time in years

Over the past 7 trips, we never saw Black Rhino but this year we saw 5 including this one which was not at all nervous walking towards rthe car and slowly crossing the road in front.

Very lucky indeed!

In all my trips to various SANParks' parks, provincial parks and private reserves over the years, I have still never seen a Black Rhino. That is even having driven roads where they are "guaranteed"! I know it is "right place, right time", but I think my time should be coming soon - I've tried long enough now!

I think you all realise how lucky and privileged you have been to see and be able to photograph these wonderful animals. Terrible to think how endangered they are becoming.

I was lucky enough to have seen my 2nd black rhino in 30 odd years in the Kruger Park the past weekend.

I will share photos later of the sighting.

It really is such a special sighting and why we have to back anti poaching in every way possible.
