Finally managed to break into the 300 club. Got some great kruger ticks in the form of Acacia Pied Barbet, African Goshawk, Shelley's Francolin, Common House Martin, Cattle Egret and Southern Brown Throated Weaver.

Added three more to move to 387 after a recent visit to the extreme north. New species are Marsh Warbler (385), Racket-tailed Roller (386) and Lemon-breasted Canary (387). Wonder what will be next, time to explore the sandstone ridges of Makuleke.

I went to Kruger in March during the time of all the rain!!! But I managed 15 new ticks for Kruger, only 1 Lifer though. We saw very few waterbirds, the water was too deep,I think. Some of the nice ones were: Montagu's Harrier,Dwarf Bittern,Dessert Cisticola and Afr Golden Oriole. Now I am on 338.

Will have to grab the bird book and do a count. Know I am over the 300 mark, just not sure how far over.
