Helol, I have just made enquiries for another member re his credit refund and he submitted his request on about the same date as you have and this was the response

Good day
Please be advised that a refund payment takes about 14 working days to appear in your account, the 14th day will on the 25 October 2017.

but if you have already submitted a refund request it might be too late to reverse it now case and

to answer you added question, yes you can use your credit balance for activities like guided drives etc but not at the shops as you have said and also not to purchase wild cards.
