I remember that Boeing. Very sad news and my sympathy goes out to his family and friends. His memory will certainly live on amongst the Kruger fraternity.

Having heard Karl Jensen interview Laurie Kay at an EAA Flying Legends talk show I can say it is a sad loss to the aviation community .
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

Have a great flight, Laurie Kay!!!
I wasn't there at the time and so I only saw it on tv in the NL, but I will never ever forget that fly-by over Ellis Park in 1995... That day you made a statement. To the nation, to the world!

My heartfelt condolences to family, friends, and loved ones of a true hero!

We also had good memories of excellent service by the restaurant. So we can second Omie's compliment.
