Re: TLC and Forum Hugs
Dear 'mites, thank you so much for thinking about me in these trying times. It is always sad to loose a loved one anytime, but even more so now, and at such a young age too.
Thank you for your messages, thoughts, prayers, words will never be able to express my thanks.

Re: Marakele: ADVICE
Tony, I would choose the right hand side of the Park, found lions right outside Tlopi tented camp. Theres a few routes that you can travel with in your sedan vehicle.

Re: Marakele: ADVICE
Hi Tonyk Here is my 50c worth of advice. I would choose Tlopi just for the simple reason that you have the best view available. It is not often that you can sit at a place having beautiful views of the Waterberg mountains and watching animals come to drink water. Armed with a spotting scope or binoc...

Re: Which is your favourite picnic spot?
I enjoy Muzandzeni and Timbavati, although the latter sometimes gets too busy for me, so I usually brew me a coffee there late in the afternoon and enjoying the silence. Once made a hasty retreat as I saw a leopard on the riverbed.

Re: Just how does one make the perfect SANParks Braai?
My fail safe method is always: 1.Always but always buy dry wood for your braai fire. Wet or newly cut wood is still green on the inside and won't burn properly. 2. Pack 2 pieces of wood parallel to each other with the firelighters in the middle, then stack the pieces like a HASH sign on top of each ...

Re: Kudu Awards - Website Community Choice Award 2019
I want to nominate Reginald Christiaan from Namaqua National Park. During a recent visit to Skilpad, the geyser circuit breaker kept tripping. It was late afternoon on a saturday. I reported it to reception and Reginald drove out to the chalet. It seemed that geyser element has gone bust. He indicat...
