I agree. You can track a single lion like Sylvester but to trace and capture 7 potential man killers is impossible. They may scatter in all directions.

7 Karoo lions put down

According to News24, a pride of seven lions from the Karoo National Park has been put down after 2 escapes in a 24 hour period. After the escape, they killed 10 sheep on a neighbouring farm.

Roan died from dehydration

20 Roan antelope died from dehydration in a breeding camp in the northern part of Kruger. The section ranger failed to check that there was sufficient water for the animals. He was dismissed.

Another 58 mm for Punda Maria yesterday. 230 mm over a 2 day period is a LOT of water.

Mike's name was mentioned in almost all the books written about Kruger. But sadly he passed on on 19 September 2019. He was 85 years old.

A friend of mine sells them at his fuel station. It is commercially available. I bought mine 21 years ago and is still in good condition. It comes with a frying pan the same size as the grid. Will try and find out where he gets them from.
