Re: Mountain Zebra National Park

Just checked. I was there in 2015! Didn't realize it was that long ago, but we did lose 2 years of our lives. Can't remember if there were washing machines, I took enough clothing. But I do remember the restaurant did a great steak the night I treated myself. Thx BB ..yes we have lost out on a bit ...

Re: Mountain Zebra National Park

Campsites all looked pretty good. I chose one closer to the admin buildings. I think there was a very slight slope so if it rained I would have been ok. There is a lovely large communal cooking/storage room. the camp won SANP camp of they year when I was there and the ablutions were certainly up to...

Re: Tales of the Kgalagadi

Thx again everybody for reading. Now for a quick little travel tale. Many folk do not really enjoy staying at twee Rivieren . We do ...and over the years we have had the most incredible sightings very close to Twee Rivieren. Many people are only interested in the Big Cats. As much as I do enjoy the ...

Re: Caracal meets her Namesake in Tsitsikamma.

When I got back to camp I grabbed my glasses and had a quick look at my photos. I decided that I could definitely live with them... I tried to calm myself down and started to think about getting organised for our evening braai .By now it was almost 6.30pm Then a bird chirping caught my attention...n...

Caracal meets her Namesake in Tsitsikamma.

We have just arrived home from a 16 day road trip along Route 62 , through Baviaanskloof, Addo, Tsitsikamma and Ebb & Flow. We only spent one evening at Storms River Mouth ...but one evening was all I needed. We left Addo Main Camp at about 7.00 am on the morning of the 18th and exited the park ...

Re: Addo Camping

Hello Everyone

A few questions re camping in Addo main camp.
Is one allocated a campsite on arrival or is it first come first serve?
Would a vehicle with rooftop tent be allowed to use a caravan site?
Is there anything else I should know about re the campsite ???

Thank you . :)
