Re: On Line bookings at Sanparks

I have a Kruger trip booked for August, and am thinking of changing the itinerary.

The SANP website used to have webpage where you could search a camp for accommodation availability by calendar month.
Can't seem to find that on the new website ?

There are no guarantees. But being in a likely area does improve your chanc...

Re: Bookings - info - advice & Feedback

Thing about a Kruger trip is that you don’t have to rush to each camp. As long as you are there by the time gates close, it’s fine. And you won’t be able to check in before 2pm anyhow. So definitely spend first night at Malelane. The next morning you can do S25 to croc bridge and then up to LS, as o...

Re: Bookings - info - advice & Feedback

I have reported the error and it has been forwarded to the web content editor, so I am sure it will be rectified soon. :) Another one that has just caught my eye : Croc Bridge (gate) to Lower Sabie : 1 h That's probably going to be closer to 1h 30m Perhaps SANP should review them all ?? :hmz:

I have checked it, is say 1hr 55mins (48km) between Orpen and Satara. So I think it is accurate.
It's tricky to scan across the lines, it can make one cross eyed :)

Pre Covid, I used to use Avis.
But their prices have gone more insane than the rest
