Re: Malelane Satellite Camp
Loooong time since the last post on this delightful little camp which is becoming more and more popular resulting in less availability for last minute bookings! I do think the resident bushbabies are also a big attraction! Last we were in the camp (March 2025) the bushbabies in the huge tree between...

20 Years!
On 27th November the forums turned 20! 20 years!! (And a day) I took the plunge and joined the forums. I was so excited to find the new SANParks website to feed my passion for Kruger National Park specifically. Every few days I would check the old website for any news. Suddenly, there was a new webs...

Re: Open Safari Vehicles - Those green or brown trucks
Hi Fritz. Please don't return home and give up on Kruger. Rather change your booking to move to Satara or Orpen. Much less OSV traffic in that area. Also, send a copy of what you have posted here with your client code and reservation number to customercare@sanparks.org. This will help make a differe...

Re: Kruger with kids - best places ?
Hi Sawaddeekha - I suggest you go for the bigger camps in the game rich areas (Satara to Lower Sabie and Skukuza) so there is a lot to see when on a drive, even if impala and baboons. The bigger camps with pools also provide an energy outlet for kids and space for walks around. Some camps have climb...

Re: How does pre-booking for day visitors work?
Hi Michel What do you think, will it be necessary to pre-book day visitor tickets? Our dates will be during public holidays in South Africa I believe but if I look at the realtime availability calender on the Sanparks website there are still a lot of tickets available for my dates... Keep an eye on ...
