Kudu Awards 2017 open for entries

The South African National Parks’ 2017 Kudu Awards in partnership with First National Bank (FNB) and Total SA has opened for entries as from 8 September 2017.
This year marks the 13th annual Kudu Awards, since inception in 2005. The awards aim to recognise external stakeholders for their contributions and efforts in making SANParks the custodian of choice for the national parks system in South Africa.
The awards consist of eight different categories as follows:
- Non-Governmental Organisations
- Media Contribution to Conservation and Eco-Tourism
- Community Contribution to Conservation
- Environmental Education
- Individual Contribution to Conservation
- Professional Stakeholders
- Associated Partners
- Women in Conservation
- Youth in Conservation
The final date for entries is 23 October 2017. The award winners will be announced at a function in Gauteng in November.
