Table Mountain National Park Emergency number re-routed

The emergency telephone contact number for Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) has been re-routed in order to streamline the emergency responses.

The TMNP emergency number 0861 106 417 has been re-routed from the Bellville Technical Operations Centre to the 107 Public Emergency Communication Centre (PECC) as from the 27th March 2017. The number to dial for all emergencies in TMNP remains the same and all emergencies will now being dealt with by the 107 operators. 

These include safety and security emergencies, injuries, getting lost while hiking in TMNP as well as any wildfire related emergencies.

The 107 PECC handles calls for all types of emergencies within the boundaries of the Cape Metropolitan Area and TMNP has now been included in order for all emergencies to be dealt with by one emergency centre.
