Media Release: Reception at Berg-en-Dal Temporarily Closed
Berg en Dal Rest Camp Reception in the Kruger National Park will temporarily move from its present location to the Restaurant complex from now until November 12, 2006 while the Reception Building is closed for upgrading work.
We decided to take this step as the upgrading work will make it increasingly difficult to provide a high standard of service to our guests while the construction project is in progress. “Our reception staff will do their level best to provide our guests with excellent service, but would like to ask our guests to remain patient if hiccups occur,” explained Berg en Dal Hospitality Services Manager Mr Stephen Nel.
The popular display in the Rhino Information Hall attached to the Reception will be closed during the period as the exhibits could not be moved. “We apologise to guests who wanted to see this display but assure them that they will be able to view it in better surroundings once the upgrade project has been completed,” concluded Mr Nel.
Situated in the extreme South of the Kruger National Park close to Malelane Entrance Gate, Berg & Dal has 69 huts, 23 family cottages, two guest cottages and 70 caravan sites. It also has a world-class conference facility, a swimming pool, an “in camp” trail with Braille facilities and various other exciting activities.
