Camdeboo Goes Lunar
Date: 2007-02-15
Camdeboo National Park is planning to make the most of the lunar eclipse that will occur on the 3/4 of March 2007. The park will be allowing visitors in, free of charge after closing time, to up to the valley and watch the moon disappear from the famous Karoo skies.
"We will be meeting at Ribbokberg picnic site where an astronomer from our community will talk us through the eclipse" says Mandy Roets, marketer for the Frontier Region.
The Karoo is a prime spot for astronomy, and this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the park in a completey new way. For more information on this great oppertunity, please contact Diane Rossouw on Tel: 049 - 89 26128, Fax: 049 - 89 24252
