Camdeboo National Park
Kids in Parks
The Kids in Parks project is a national project which is promoted and run as a collaborative project by SANParks, Pick n Pay and the Departments of Environmental Affairs and Tourims and Education.
The aim of the project is to ensure that disadvantaged schools, who on a normal basis would not have the funding to be able to visit the Park, to do so. These schools are thus sponsored by the Kids in Parks project and giving that very opportunity. Camdeboo National Park has run the Kids in Parks programme for the last five years. The goal is to have 500 learners and 20 educators experience the Park and learn about conservation as a whole.
