Accommodation
The Alexandria hiking trail provides accommodation for hikers in overnight huts.
Visitors can also hire the Langebos hikers’ huts for an overnight stay without doing the two-day hiking trail. The Langebos wooden cabins nestled in the enchanting Alexandria forest provide a tranquil haven for visitors. Each of the two cabins sleeps 6 people in two bedrooms with mattresses provided (visitors should bring their own bedding and pillows).
A gas fridge, gas stove, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided, as well as an outside braai area. The two cabins share a hot water shower and toilet. Visitors must provide their own firewood. There is no electricity but solar-powered lights.
Tariffs: R100 per person per night. Note: this tariff does not include the conservation fees per person per night.
Community Levy
A community levy of 1% will be added to the cost of all accommodation and activity reservations arriving on or after the 1st of June 2012.
