BB posted this in the game topic - and I suddenly realised how I miss the sports commentary we used to have here in CC. I never needed to ever switch on the TV thanks to our mites.

And this weekend we have some good matches on the go? Three international matches?

Phil Hughes, the Australian batsman passed away.

Very sad.

I was having dinner with Dinkybird, Hawk & JvR in Satara when the game was played.

I believe it could have been 0-3 before ending 1-2. Maybe this is the start of a United surge.....

There are no easy games....

Freak accident. I feel for the bowler who just did what thousands do every week.

And of course for the Hughes family.

I saw coverage of the funeral on tv.
An immense turnout. The Assies are united in their grief.

Last night I was at the Arsenal v Southampton match at the Emirates.

Very frustrating 89 minutes, but at least Sanchez managed to score the winning goal.
He is turning out to be a fantastic signing.

I read an interesting article about Aussie hypocracy, which stated that the baby faced captain, was sledging (among others) Jimmy Anderson and telling Mitch Johnson to bounce him and break his sexually active arm, but he has probably forgotten that now, until next time.
