Whitewinged Widow Euplectes albonotatus
Habits: Gregarious in small flocks, often in company with other Euplectes species (Widows and Bishops) even when breeding. Male displays from perch by singing with tail conspicuously fanned. Flight rather slow with rapidly fluttering wings, showing yellow and white flashes. Forages on groung and on standing plants. Food: Seeds, grain, insects, nectar of aloes.
