Hi all

I went on a trip to Mapungubwe NP during June this year and a bird of note that we saw was a bohm's spinetail, which is not on the birdlist there.

The bird was seen flying over Leokwe (the main camp), in the east of the park. there were several baobabs in the vicinity and one right near the camp.

Also saw a tropical boubou around forest tented camp in west.

Thanks for the tip Musker. Saw them in KNP in January this year but will definitely keep our eyes open for another spot during our visit in August.

Thanks for the feedback Musker. With all the baobabs around it should be a no brainer that Bohm's and even Mottled Spinetails occur at Mapungubwe, especially as they occur further east in northern Kruger and other parts of northern Limpopo.

The Boubous are pretty much ubiquitous at the Tented Camp - and at the treetop boardwalk too.

These are tricky to photograph. My best effort so far.
