Such nice photo's! We used to have a few of them in our garden when I was small and I remember sitting and watching them for ages... They are such beautiful birds!

The Bokmakierie is a near-endemic bird. Near-endemic are birds who are confined to Southern Africa, but which extends their ranges marginally into countries to the north, such as Zambia and Angola.
