Here are a couple we encountered heading south just before Tshokwane on the 07Aug 2012.
It appears that the mother was training the juvenile to hunt.

Love all these Cheetah photos.
Here is another of ours. This was the juvenile from my previous photos just leaving the road.

what do you think, are these three brothers or a mother with two "cubs"? The one in front looks a tad bit taller to me...

filmed on Oct 14, near Satara

thanks

Great clip Ice.

Late one evening I saw these two Cheetah on the edges of the bush at Nkaya Pan. Mother and sub-adult sibling were stalking Impala in the thick bush. The female launched her attack further into the bush never to re-appear. I think she caught one of the Impala but the bush was too thick for confirmation and I had to leave to make camp before the gates closed.

Coalition of three Cheetahs found on the S126 5km west of the H1-3 on 26th December. Many thanks to the guys that stopped us making a U-turn and return to the main road before reaching those Cheetahs. Lovely to hear them communicate with each other :D

Grass more than 1 metre high around P/Kop recently caused this one to survey the area from a height .

Just wanted to report on an awesome sighting we had last week.
We spend at least a week in the park every year and have never had any luck in finding a cheetah on our own. Last week we spent only a few hours in the park on our way back from Mozambique.
We were driving very slowly and peacefully along the S82, having entered the park at Crocodile Bridge, planning to have breakfast at Lower-Sabie, before heading home via the S26.
About two kms from LS, still on the S82 we spotted a cheetah waiting for us in the middle of the road!
The most beautiful sighting ever.
It was only us, and the cheetah lingered in the road for a few minutes, looking at us, before graciously disappearing into the bush.
A very special experience and I am so glad we could not resist a drive through the park before heading home to Gauteng.
Heading back after our breakfast at LS, just before Crocodile Bridge gate, we saw a huge traffic jam, with people literally outside their cars and children standing on the roofs.
When we got closer we could see that the fuss was about the silhouette of another cheetah in the distance.
We promptly left.
