My printer has really passed it's sell by date. I don't use it that often, but now when I need to do printing, I have to email it to work. This is often a hassle and work does not have colour facilities.
On Sunday I noted that Game was selling a Canon bundle at a riduculously low price. I have no experience with a Canon printer, so I have no idea about extras like printing ink. I know that my HP was pretty steep. The bundle includes: Digital camera A810 3 in 1 multifunction printer MP280 Software bundle USB bundle/photo paper 4GB memory card 2 year warranty This is going for R1299. It seems perfect for my limited needs and a little point and shoot would come in handy. It seems a good deal. |

MM, I have a Canon Photo printer and I'm very happy with it......Ink cartridges are three separate ones, so you only replace the empty colour. Unfortunately these colour cartridges ain't cheep!!!!
I must say that does seem like a very nice package!!!......... Those printers sell for about R500 on the internet and the 4gb Card is about R100 which leaves you with about R600 for the camera!!! |

The reason I bought my Canon printer was because their ink catridges were the cheapest to replace. But that's here in the UK, not sure what they are like in SA.
I've had no reason to complain and its still going strong 8 years later. |

Hi MM
I have owned Canon printers for the past 15 years and been very happy with the results. Please be aware that you can have the best printer going but unless you use good quality 'Photographic' paper the quality of your picture will be considerably less than you would like. Ink cartridges are also expensive but can be purchased cheaper on the internet. Avoid using non Canon inks or refills as these usually produce poor results and use more ink. Regards JDW |

I agree on the canon printers. I got an ip3600 for about R500 on line. The ink is expensive but less so than other brands. Shop around for the best deals, as some of the retailers have crazy mark-ups (MAKRO
If you do a lot of printing then the Lexmark perfect finish paper is the most cost effective and works fine with this printer. |
