Hello there,

We are coming back again in late November, spending 8 nights in KNP. So then I want to renew my Wild card which is now no longer valid. I think that's it is easier to buy it on arrival, but if the new tariffs are increasing too much, then I'll renew it online before October 31th!
So, my question: I am looking for the 2012/2013 tariffs, I can't find them on Sanparks Website

The 2013 tariffs have not been made available yet. As soon as I know something I will let you know.

This is probably a silly question but, if I renew my Wildcard online before Oct 31st, will I pay the old price, or the new one. We don't arrive in Croc Bridge till Nov 4th, so if I do it there we will definitely pay the new price I presume?

Hi, Crested Val, I was in KNP last year in November and had renewed my wild Card in August, so I paid the "old" price, and did not had to pay anything more when I entered KNP. So, I think that if you renew before Oct 31th, then you'll get the actual price and not the next one.
You can enter Kruger just with your confirmation letter even if your card didn't reach you before your departure.

papop, the WC didn't increase in price last year, it was kept at 2011 prices for 2012.

Still need to know, if I renew online before Oct 31st do I pay the old price or the new.
I have a new type SANparks Wildcard that just needs renewing.

So an international couple will save R135 by renewing before 31 October and a S.A. couple will save R35.

For a South African family the cost of a Wild Card goes from R700 to R745. (R45 more)
For an International family the cost goes up from R2620 to R2785. (R165 more)
