Where is Khandizwe and what is its claim to fame?

If I am not mistaken it is somewhere close to Malelane.

In 1976 Dr U de V Pienaar collected some several species of molluscs there. some of these had been recorded and others not although it was believed that they should be present there.

Seriously, apologies for keeping you all waiting - I simply overlooked that I had asked a Q here. And a direct apology to Forest Gump - you were correct; Tankwa Karoo it was.

I agree, Mokala it is. But was it not moved because of land claims on the Vaalbos National Park? As far as I can remember, the land was also scarred by diamond mines.
