The place where 'the old man sleeps' Where is it. (tip, it is a present place in Kruger and not part of history only)

Tip : A good place to eat before looking for some Roan Antelope. They usually lala under the trees with the old man.

Ndloti, well done.They have let thje gums stand as they are of historical interest. Must go and check if they are still standing.
I moved house in the last week should have answered earlier.

Ndloti, exactly where is this place? I am not a 'Southerner' and can't remember where exactly this place is. All I can remember is that it is on left hand side of the road if you travel from Lower Sabie.

Rooies , I do not think there is a historical plaque - I think the trees may have in fact fallen down by now .
According to my 1992 (?) Jacana "Make The Most Of Kruger" map book with foreword by Dr Salmon Joubert & sponsored by Volkskas Bank the location is just after the Vurhomi stream on the left side of the H5 road travelling towards Mpondo dam shortly after leaving the H4-2.
I will consult the authoritative "Neem Uit Die Verlede" by Dr U de V Pienaar.
