Picnic, I will try.

I did notice a dent in the moon tonight. I hope that dent has been rectified by the panel beaters. :hmz:

Lovely pic TH!!!!

Hawk and I set off along the N2 and turned off at Grabouw towards Franschhoek.

We needed to drive east to see the moon rise as we live in a basin surrounded by mountains.

So, the moon rising over the Cape at about 17:45:

TH, that is an awesome pic

To us the moon did seem bigger than normal at full moon. Etv news said it looks about about 30% larger, and 14% brighter. They also said watching it rise tomorrow night would be best as then the sky will be dark.

I am so pleased that we were all following the moon.

Without the forum, I would have been oblivious.

Tomorrow I hope to post pictures.

I love what has been done.

The moon is a mystery, it is beautiful and sets the scene.

Great photos all! Glad you guys got to see it at its best last night. Maybe I take the moon for granted and the sunrises and sunsets because being up very early (in the dark) and outside at dusk with good horizon visual, I see them all the time. So a good reminder to me to take time to appreciate the beautiful moon and sun.
