We all know and love Lake Panic bird hide in the Kruger National Park. Through various visits we have a some superb sightings and met some really great people. I have always found it extremely interesting to hear stories from people about what they have seen at Lake Panic. The hide is sometimes also very busy with visitors coming and going but be patient the action will happen any time.
I started this thread so we can share images of what you have seen at this famous hide over the years. This will not be a photographic competition and any images will be welcome. I will also compile a list of the Mammals and birds and post the update on a regular basis. The Malachite Kingfisher is one of the smallest Kingfishers and difficult to photograph. Found on inland waters, where it perches on low overhanging vegetation and resident at LP. We spotted them flying around and on this day we were lucky when he sits on the vegetation near the hide posing for a photo.
