In an attempt to get the quizzes going again, what about a fast moving, (fairly) easy quiz, Jeopardy style... with a twist
For those that don't know how Jeopardy works: I will give the answer, and you must reply with the appropriate question. Now for the little twist - I will give 3 answers - an easy one, medium one and a (fairly) hard one... all rated in my opinion off course (there are many mites that are alot smarter than I am - so they would find all of them easy). You can ONLY answer 1 of the questions. You should therefor start with the hardest - if you can answer that - go ahead, but don't answer any of the other 2. If you can't answer the hardest one proceed to the medium one and so on. This would ensure that anybody at any level of knowledge can participate. Only once all 3 questions have been answered, will I proceed to the next set. Enjoy! |

OK, I'm working on the first set... but I thought I'd put the idea out there in the meantime.
The 1st set will follow shortly. ![]() |

forestgump wrote 1) Which rare raptor has only one nesting site within South Africa, found on the Abel Erasmus pass ? Not exactly what I was looking for FG, but close enough, so I will give it to you. I was looking for: What is South Africa's rarest breeding bird.... and you're right, the only nesting site is found in the Abel Erasmus pass. Anri wrote Easy: What is the world's largest antelope? Correct Anri PNF wrote 2) What is an Ystervark? Again not what I'm looking for - gotta be a little harder than that PNF. A clue: it's a translation from a different African language. |
