How many kids are we talking about?

In my opinion one visit is not enough. Those children must return! One visit alone only leaves a small memory and much more is needed for awaken a real interest i the kids. Two visits will leave a bigger memory and the third time, they might convince the parents to take them to the park

Come on Fellow Forum Mites!! You do not have to give a big sum. Go one day less to a park next time and what you saved on that one day will bring a lot of children a day in the park

I am sure that most folks out there don't know about this initiative, 421 kids sponsored is great but it could be so much more. Tell your friends about this drive and get them to participate as well. As I have said before for the price of a coke and a pie you can change the life of a child for the better

It makes me very happy to think of the excitement and anticipation of these kids. Anyone who has worked with the problems some of these children face on a daily basis will understand the joy that this will bring. It will stand out in their little minds and it will give them positive associations with the Park.

I Think is really a very good initiative to tell you youth about the nature and its laws

Have those "child trips" to the park already started? If not, when will they start?

Micetta, we were fortunate to be there while one trip was underway. At the moment the courses are 3 days long. Marakele is aiming to broaden the experience to include more kids hence this project which will be only day trips.

So yes, in a way the project is already underway.
No, the day trips have not started yet, we need to see how many kids we can sponsor then the planning will begin. The park has everything in place already, all we still need is the money to make it happen.
