I was in the park the 24-27 April 2010. we camp at Pretoriuskop and did not see one yr except our's. We had a yellow duckling. Yellow for the forum and duckling, we are on the "birding for ducklings"..

What is happening.

Louis, during our trips to Kruger we have also seen very little YR's. Even during the recent cricket weekend there were a few forumites not displaying their YR's! Maybe they are all undercover or something. We will be in Kruger during July this year and I haven't decided if I will bother with a YR again!

Except for your YR on the car Theuns, I have not seen one during the March trip either.
Or any other trip for that matter.

I have seen around 5 or so in the Skukuza area this past weekend.

We will be displaying a YR for the first time, starting this weekend.

Still have 3 days to wait, and we are packed already... the suspence is killing me...

Hey it's like animal sightings - Right place, right time!!

I do get to see Yellow Ribbon's from time to time.

TheunsH - Please don't stop displaying your YR - We need to see fellow forumites!!

Please keep trying Theuns, I have met some lovely people in the park due to yellow ribbons.

Maybe these postings will help people remember.

I was wondering if mites are a shame of displaying YR. We did met ecojunkie at Melelane gate on Saturday morning when we entered the park. On our trip During last December we have seen a few and met some interesting fellow mites.

PLEASE LET THEM FLY.

TheunsH, if I remember correctly we'll be at Skukuza at the same time in July?

I was thinking if we ask the mod's if they cant put a reqeust the fly YR under Announcements, that way more ppl will see it before they start searching for a topic.

I think we saw you, were your sporting a yellow chick on your rear view mirror as you passed I said to SO that maybe a forumite we were proudly displaying ours,but only met wildone who forgot his. Pity we did not meet. Have met quite a few in the past pls don't give up.

Hi All. Just back from six delightful days and also only saw 2 YR`s. One belonged to Campjumper with whom we traded sightings and the other to a speed cop or something as it went passed me in a blur

Mellory, It might be confused with a chick but is actually a duckling. And I will not stop flying it in the parks. The duck got a special please where it get stored till the next trip.

On easter weekend I only found 1 other yellow ribbon, and that person is not very active on the forum, but it was lovely to meet her. I think we need to start Sharifa and Dukes rare sighting challenge for YR's.

I think I will keep on displaying my YR!
