Hallo all!
Don't you think ADDO has one of the calmest, friendliest reception assistants? We spend a lot of time in the Park and on every visit we just see the same smile! My three cheers for a very helpful and supportive SAN Parks staff member |

They are all brilliant at reception and most importantly patient and warm with teh tourists...which might be frustrating at times with teh language barriers.
Its a pleasure to walk in there, anytime of teh day, be greeted, chat, make a joke, and leave with a smeile. |

Quezette & the Reception Team are the best. Watched them with the Parks international or first time visitors and they are superb.
Here's one for Megan & the Management Team: Please ask Infinity (Wild Card) for a card machine for the main gate so Quezette & Team can concentrate on check-ins and card holds can get in the game area quicker. |

Getwild
The more automation the less staff required. I expect that Addo is one of the largest employers in an area that has a very large number of unemployed. Somewhere there is a balance and brighter people than me have to make some very difficult decisions on a daily basis. Whilst not living in South Africa I can understand the frustration, however I do think employment is vital particularly for the young, if by having to wait a little longer to get in it helps give people a leg up in life I will vote for it. I also think all the parks including accommodation etc are exceptionally good value for money and do not have a problem with paying a fair contribution for the enjoyment that I get, even if this is an increase. Just my thoughts Regards JDW |

I've been to Addo twice now, and am booked to go back again late August. I don't remember the names of the staff (sorry) - but I've always received excellent service.
They don't just check you in - but take the time to have a chat. When you leave - they are eager to know, if you have enjoyed your stay, and are very happy when you say you have!! They also remind you to "come again" - we always reply, "but of course". Addo - is my little piece of heaven, when I can't make the journey to Kruger, and is a wonderful park, in its own right. Roll on August.... Smartiepants |

JDW, SANPARK's partnership with local communities is exceptional, with the parks providing much needed employment to local communities. The additional 'Wild Card' Machine will do no more than streamline check in procedures. Good first contact or impressions are vital when trying to induce return visits and waiting to check in and enter the game needs be avoided. More 'foot traffic = more staff' 'Maybe an additional person will be need to swipe the card' Lol Well done Quezette & the Reception Team |

Thanks for the suggestion about Wild Card machines, getwild.
We are currently investigating the logistics of installing machines at the main entrance gate as well as some of the other sections of the Park. |
