Spotted Bush Snake.
Black speckles are indicative. A Boomslang has a shorter stubby head. |

![]() Isn't she a beauty. The SA ones the colour stays green towards the tail just with the spots becoming less, but the botswana and northern colouring changes to copper as you can see below. This one I found at Mapungubwe a few seasons ago. ![]() |

Hi Jumbo
Close encounters of the worse kind believe me been their done that got the T-shirt so if you don't mind my asking but from where are you Im just trying to ensure that I never buy property their I see that as a sound investment LOL as for me I was 7 months pregnant with my first daughter and as any woman knows those toilet breaks call at the worst of hours anyhow it was very early in the morning and needed the loo so off I went however I was still fast asleep my eyes weren't focusing yet! So I sat down on the toilet the next minute I had a black mamba raise itself to fu length between my legs I thought I was seeing things my first thought was sit dead still sheenaugh-lee don't move but my body wouldn't listen my whole body just kept on jittering I screamed for my mom to help I couldn't move the snake was in the bathroom doors way and I was huge I couldn't get out a window thank God my step dad managed to kill that thing before it bit me my daughter wouldn't have survived needless to say before I enter any bathroom after that I check every nook and cranny! |

The second episode in that same bathroom my mother had a mozambiquen spitting cobra standing at full length in front of her while she was on the loo the cats alerted my mom to the thing! Needless to say IM ALLERGIC to that bathroom I hold it till I get home but use that toilet I refuse!
