We are visiting and camping in Kruger in Sept 2012 from Australia. Weight allowance on international flights will allow us to bring our tent and sleeping gear but the camping table and chairs won't fit in. Are there picnic tables in the rest camps that we could use for preparing a meal and eating or will we need to buy this basic camping furniture in Jo'burg?

On the campsite in the camps there are no tables and chairs only if you stay in the huts/bungalows, but if you go to one of the day visitor areas in the camps there are tables and chairs because most people like to stop and make a meal and also at all the picnic sites there are table and chairs

A collapsible table Bushbaby brand from Checkers R100 chairs +/- R50, the table is OK for two and four at a pinch. Cheap enough to give away when finished with it.

Thank you for replies. We will have a stove and basic cooking equipment and will source Checkers to find the suggested table. Cheers.
